Rainbow Weldon
Rainbow holds a BA in Theatre Arts from LaGrange College. She has over 10 years of experience working in children's theatre as a writer, director, teacher and actor. Rainbow worked as a Tour Actor/Director for Missoula Children's Theatre. After touring Rainbow moved to Chicago where she started her first children's theatre company, Soul Gurgle Inc. providing classes, camps and workshops to children in after school programs in the Chicago area for 5 years. While in Chicago, Rainbow also worked for Chicago Kids Company as Stage Manager, Office Manager and Academy Teacher. Rainbow left Chicago for a one year opportunity to teach theatre to children on Schofield Army Base in Hawaii. Currently residing in Kalamazoo, MI, Rainbow teaches theatre classes at the Kalamazoo Civic, Great Escape Stage Co. and Albion Youth Theatre. Rainbow is also the Global Diversity Student Leadership Coordinator at Albion College.
Heather Marsh-Prelesnik
Originally from Kalamazoo, MI, Heather was homeschooled and continued her studies in Elementary Education and Voice at Western and Kellogg Community College. Heather created and directed shows for the United Arts Council in Battle Creek. She went on to tour for three years with Missoula Children’s Theatre performing and working with children all over the world. After Missoula, Heather moved to Chicago where she taught musical theatre classes for Soul Gurgle Inc. in Chicago and Hawaii. Now back in Michigan, Heather is a professional nanny, singer and teaches theatre classes at the Kalamazoo Civic. Some of her favorite performance roles include Lucy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Shelia in Hair, and Henreitta in Frog Prince.
